Moonlight Sonata
The moonlight dances on the still lake,
A symphony of silver, a gentle wake.
Soft whispers ride the midnight air,
Echoes of dreams scattered everywhere.
The stars above, they softly sing,
A lullaby for the night to bring.
Shimmering notes on heaven’s scroll,
Painting light upon the soul.
The waves they ripple, the breeze they play,
A melody of night, in the moon’s soft ray.
A hush of wonder, calm and deep,
Cradling the world in quiet sleep.
Through silver branches, shadows weave,
Soft silhouettes the night deceives.
A canvas brushed in hues of light,
Where darkness bends to something bright.
The world is quiet, the world is still,
A fleeting moment, a heart to fill.
Beneath the glow, all worries cease,
Wrapped in the arms of moonlit peace.
